Our many past trips to Paris convinced us that we love the city in the fall and in the summer, but now we can say: yes, we love Paris in the springtime as well. When a sudden gust of wind picks up the canvas and pierces it upon a fence, when heavy hail pounds at the palette and whips up the paints into an unimaginable, colorful "frapp√©", when a splash of cherry blossom petals creates an unplanned collage on the wet painting, we stubbornly clench our jaws and repeat the invocation: "I love Paris in the springtime!" But we can truly feel this love when seeing the familiar sights magically transformed by L'Air de Printemps - the Air of Springtime...   These are the eight paintings we completed in Paris this April.
